Allegany County Transit (ACT) is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in or denied the benefits of the transit services we offer. This policy is consistent with the requirements of federal laws (Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Environmental Justice Regulations).
If you believe you have been subjected to unequal treatment because of race, color, or national origin, then you have the right to file a formal complaint. If you believe you have been discriminated against for some reason other than race, color or national origin by Allegany County Transit, you may file a complaint to or at the address below."No person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance." - Title VI
